Christian Maeder joined Raymond James in October 2011 after serving as an Edward Jones financial advisor for seven years. Prior to that, his excellent communication skills and dynamic personality helped him engage advisors at various broker-dealers at Accessor Capital Management. These same skills have enabled him to develop a close-knit relationship with his clients and their families in order to help fulfill their financial goals.
Christian earned his bachelor’s degree in history from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles in 1999. Shortly afterward, he joined AIG SunAmerica as a regional marketing associate, where he studied for and received his Series 6, 7 and 63 licenses. Since then, he has earned his series 66, 9/10, and insurance licenses.
A lifetime resident of Los Angeles, Christian is devoted to his community. He shows that love through years of service as a member of the Palos Verdes Rotary Club, support for the Harbor City Boys and Girls Club, and as a former board member at the nonprofit Switzer Learning Center in Torrance, a special education school which serves children and young adults. Christian has worked with and served on the board of the Pediatric Therapy Network, which provides innovative and comprehensive assistance in helping special needs children develop the tools they need to be active and successful members of society. His commitment to the youth in his community shines through with his support for the The Center for Learning Unlimited, a highly specialized educational program for students with complex neurological disorders who have few options for pathways to success.
When he’s not in the office or meeting with clients, Christian enjoys traveling and taking part in the Checkered Flag 200 at the Petersen Automotive Museum. He has an avid interest in collecting, driving, and racing vintage, luxury, and exotic automobiles.
Christian has recently moved his family from Palos Verdes to Beverly Hills where he is increasingly establishing himself in that community and getting involved in local charities.
